MTR® T on formwork
The MTR® T beam is the best solution for exposed parts, such as balconies. It is totally embedded in concrete, thus making the steel parts disappear and preventing them from being subject to the corrosive effects of the atmospheric agents. Moreover, in the 95% of the cases, the MTR® T beam has the same thickness as the slab, avoiding intrados which create formwork costs and thermal bridges.

MTR® A with predalles slabs

Thanks to the MTR® A beams’ self-support and to the prestressed slabs, timing is halved, for formwork and shoring are totally eliminated.

With MTR® T beams it is possible to make slab-thickness beams where the ordinary reinforced concrete does not allow it. The MTR® T beams resting on pedralles slabs also guarantee self-support, for the 80% of the prefabrication of the horizontal structure.

Solution 1

MTR® T on formwork

The underground garages built with MTR® T beams on pedralles slabs guarantee R120 fire resistance, everything with big structural meshes in the slab package. An impossible result with a normal reinforced concrete structure.

Solution 2

MTR® A with predalles slabs

The MTR® A beams, also with R 60/90/120, with pedralles slabs allow the prefabrication of the 100% of the horizontal structure. Thus, the constructon times are halved. Formwork and shoring are completely eliminated, whereas the column sections are considerably reduced.
