Safety, Digitization, Sustainability: 3 challenges for Prefabrication

Metal.Ri at the panel discussion "Safety, Digitization, Sustainability: 3 Challenges for Prefabrication"

On the occasion of the SAIE Bologna 2024 exhibition, a rich program of conferences, roundtables and conversations will take place inside theSAIE InConcrete ARENA to delve into vertical issues and to take stock of concrete technology, from the point of view of mix design but also of prescription, production processes, controls and the role of the Technologist.

On Thursday, Oct. 10, we at Metal.Ri will participate in the panel discussion "Safety, Digitization, Sustainability: 3 Challenges for Prefabrication.": a meeting for industry professionals and experts to explore the main challenges the prefabrication sector is facing in the context of modern construction, with a focus on three key issues: safety, digitization and building sustainability.

Technical Evolution and Role of Prefabrication in Sustainable Construction

The prefabrication sector is constantly evolving, representing a historic industry that is undergoing a phase of profound transformation. During the meeting, industry experts will discuss the latest technical innovations and the central role prefabrication is taking within sustainable construction.

The Relevant Legislation and the Importance of Safety

A crucial aspect will be the analysis of the relevant regulations governing the prefabrication sector. Compliance with safety standards will be a central issue, given the importance of ensuring safe production processes for both workers and construction end users.

Digitalization as an Engine of Change

In an increasingly digitized construction world, prefabrication is at the center of this revolution. How digitization is changing the way we design, manufacture and build, improving accuracy, efficiency and reducing margins of error will be explored.

Sustainability and Quality: the Future of Prefabrication

Finally, they will discuss how prefabrication can help make construction more sustainable, reducing environmental impact and optimizing the use of resources. Enhancing the quality of prefabricated products will be another important topic, to ensure durable, efficient and environmentally friendly building solutions.
