Metal.Ri among the official sponsors of the event
SI&A School of Engineering & Architecture, sponsored by the Superior Council of Public Works and Ance Nazionale, is a nonprofit corporation that was established as an implementer of updating and education initiatives also promoted by the Professional Orders and operates in tune with Builders, Companies, and Technical Offices, public and private.
SI&A intends to act as an intermediary between, on the one hand, the system of education and training of scientific-cultural knowledge and skills, which offers formal learning and guarantees it with the issuance of a qualification (Universities and more generally Institutes recognized by the State) and, on the other hand, the world of work, the Constructors, and more generally the 'market', which presses to have Technicians more ready for immediate employment in the field.
The School aims, therefore, to contribute to recovering the culture of cooperation between different professions engaged in a common initiative.
SI&A holds an annual National Conference in Bari on topical technical issues related to the world of Construction.
The conference
The 4th National Conference of 4/12/2017 in Bari titled "Not only to the earthquake the responsibility of collapses" saw the registration of about 1,800 Technicians and Professionals of the sector, and similar massive participation recorded the last pre-Covid edition of 28/3/2019 held in Bari on the theme "Sismabonus - Relaunching the construction world. Regenerating the suburbs," again with speeches by political, technical and academic figures.
After the forced break due to Covid, the 2023 National Conference will focus on the topic of major road infrastructures, also in light of the Bridges and Tunnels Guidelines, and to the government's planned funding for the related infrastructure rehabilitation of more than 1 billion euros.
The event aims to give a concrete slant of effective comparison and articulating the meeting in three moments:
- the States General, which will include speeches by Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Hon. Matteo Salvini, Ance Nazionale President Federica Brancaccio, President Eng. Massimo Sessa of the Superior Council of Public Works, and the CEOs of Anas and the Italian F.S;
- The second part devoted to technical and academic insights;
- the third part dedicated to a very high-profile Round Table coordinated by PNRR Committee Chairman Prof. Eng. Andrea Ferrante CSLLPP, who is also the Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Conference.
Participation in the conference will award CFPs for Engineers, Architects and PPCs, Geologists, Surveyors and Lawyers. Registration is free but registration is required.
We, at Metal.Ri, are excited to be present as an official sponsor of the event, along with other major companies in the industry, to promote this unique opportunity for insight and discussion!
Why choose MTR® System for bridge and walkway construction
Building a suspended structure such as pedestrian, road and railway bridges, is among the most complex jobs.
MTR® System simplifies its execution, providing a viable alternative to classic construction systems.
For the construction of bridges and walkways, MTR® A beams or MTR® C beams are recommended.
Their bottom bottoms, made of steel for the MTR® A and concrete for the MTR® C, ensureself-supporting, a very important advantage for this type of structure.
The use of corten steel for MTR® A beams ensures durability over time, counteracting the effects of weathering and external agents.
A demonstration of how MTR® System technology is the ideal solution for any construction need, not only for the residential sector but also for infrastructure.
