Europea 92 S.p.A. has been operating since 1989 nationally and internationally in the large infrastructure sector, led by Marciano Ricci together with his daughters Sabrina Ricci and Mirella Ricci. It has joined our clients for the Construction of a new hotel facility in Rivisondoli (AQ), with demolition and reconstruction of the former Como Hotel, one of the symbols of Abruzzo's mountain tourism.
The following was also chosen for this prestigious achievement MTR® System to ensure speed of execution, thick floor beams with large structural meshes (up to 10 meters in length) and the maximum architectural freedom For the design of interior environments.
Not only that. Among the demands of this new building was also the need to employ the best techniques of green building, in compliance with CAM requirements, and the most modern earthquake-resistant technologies.
We interviewed Sabrina Ricci, manager of Europea 94 S.p.A., to tell us more about her choice.

• • How did you come to choose MTR® System? What prompted you to choose it?
    "The possibility of increasing the structural mesh together with that of speeding up, whenever possible, site operations, led to the choice of employing prefabricated metal beams. From the resulting market survey carried out in this regard, the company Metal.Ri seemed to offer the necessary expertise and experience."

• • What benefits have you found from your experience with MTR® System?
    "Under the product aspect, increased reliability about the required characteristics, as the beams, made with steel from metal carpentry with certification of origin and control, are composed of individual components assembled in the workshop/establishment with a continuous wire welding process according to industry standards, each identified with the production sheet.
    According to the functional aspect, increase of the structural mesh with the same geometry and loads (greater spans), with the possibility of obtaining beams at the thickness of the slab having a single plane at the soffit of the slab (passage of plants, etc.)."

• • What added value has MTR® System brought to your construction sites?
    "First of all, the safety factor, where workers do not have to expose themselves for long periods to work at height for the assembly of beam reinforcements.
    Then the self-supporting MTR® A elements (metal truss with steel bottom), which made it possible to reduce the temporary support and formwork structures and simplified the installation of the prefabricated elements (predalles), reducing execution time and optimizing the cost/benefit ratio."
